Note
Resolution adopted by the General Assembly on December 1, 2005, by a vote of 106 for, 8 against, and 59 abstentions.

A Committee created on the same day in 1975 when the UN adopted the Zionism is racism resolution. The resolution was rescinded in 1991 - the Committee dedicated to the same underlying cause is still going strong.
