Resolution adopted by the General Assembly on December 8, 2005, by a vote of 156 for, 1 against, and 15 abstentions.

Another UN resolution condemning Israel - this time at the behest of Syria. The UN storyline is that the Golan Heights became occupied territory in 1967 out of thin air. No recollection here of the Syrian use of the Golan Heights to attack Israel repeatedly since 1948 or the 1967 attempt by Syria to obliterate Israel.
