Note
Some believed that the Gaza pullout would have an impact on the annual Israel-bashing ritual at the UN General Assembly. The European Union proved them wrong. On the resolution that comes closest to offending a majority of member states (A/C.4/60/L.13) the vote was 80 for, 9 against (including the U.S. and Israel) and 68 abstentions (including the European Union). Last year's results: 80 for, 6 against, 74 abstentions.
